STREETPHOTOGRAPHY
Street photography across cities and transit routes, capturing fleeting moments, night atmospheres, and the traces people leave in public space.
This page brings together long term street photography series made in Tokyo, Bangkok, Beverly Hills, and across rail journeys, as well as a documentary set created during a demonstration in Ukraine. Each series is built around observation, rhythm, light, and the tension between the staged and the unguarded.
TOKYO/KYOTO AT NIGHT
2024
A nocturnal series contrasting two faces of Japan: the modern energy of Shinjuku in Tokyo and the quiet, traditional atmosphere of Gion, Kyoto’s historic geisha district, in Kyoto.
Through neon lights, reflections and dense urban geometry in Tokyo, and through lantern lit streets and wooden facades in Gion, the series explores the visual dialogue between contemporary Japan and its enduring traditions.
BANGKOK CHINATOWN AT NIGHT
2026
A night series photographed in the streetfood market of Chinatown Bangkok, where neon signs, food stalls and dense crowds transform the street into a vibrant visual landscape.
Moving through smoke, light and movement, the images capture fleeting scenes of everyday life, revealing the rhythm and intensity of the market after dark.
TGV vs SHINKANSEN
2022-2024
A street photography series exploring the visual experience of high speed rail through images taken aboard and around the Eurostar and Japan’s Shinkansen.
From platforms to train windows, the series reflects on how movement, landscape and framing transform the journey into a cinematic experience.

MOTEL SIGNS
2015
Photographed during a road trip across the national parks of the United States, this series focuses on the roadside signs of American motels.
Seen at night or along empty highways, these signs become visual landmarks of travel and transition. Through typography, neon light and weathered surfaces, the images capture fragments of the American road landscape and its quiet, cinematic atmosphere.
RODEO DRIVE LUXURY WINDOWS
2015
Photographed along Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, this series explores the visual interplay between luxury storefront displays and the street outside.
Through reflections, mannequins, passing cars and palm trees, the images blend interior staging with urban reality, creating layered compositions where fashion, architecture and everyday life overlap.
LOS ANGELES
2015
Photographed across Los Angeles, this series captures different facets of the city, from the film industry in Hollywood to the coastal atmosphere of Venice Beach and Santa Monica.
Moving between film studios, iconic landmarks and everyday street scenes, the images explore the visual mythology of Los Angeles, where cinema, urban life and the Pacific coastline intersect.
